Centerstone’s Institute

Centerstone’s Institute is a dedicated team of physicians, psychologists, scientists, educators, and other industry experts who use science to advance the field of mental health and substance use treatment. By translating its research into meaningful and innovative clinical practice, Centerstone’s Institute works to implement research-based strategies into real-world settings, thereby reducing the research-to-practice gap. Centerstone’s Institute continually develops clinical pathways, models and recommendations in a variety of areas, including:
  • Suicide Prevention & Suicide-Specific Treatment
  • Use of Telehealth for Mental Health Treatment
  • Community-Based Treatment for Addictions and Substance Use

Centerstone’s Foundation

Centerstone’s Foundation works to unite the hearts of donors with the needs of our clients and programs. The Foundation brings philanthropic support from individuals, businesses and grant funders to Centerstone in support of our mission to “deliver care that changes people’s lives”. Gifts to Centerstone provide tremendous opportunity in the lives of children, youth, adults and families seeking a path to recovery and wellness. Our donors and funders help advance care and health outcomes while providing direct support for key clinical initiatives of Centerstone. In FY2020, Centerstone’s Foundation secured more than $3.2 million in philanthropic gifts.

Centerstone’s Military Services

Centerstone’s Military Services provides high-quality, culturally competent mental health care to active duty service members, National Guard and Reserve Troops, veterans from all eras and members of their families. By partnering with a network of professionals across the globe, Centerstone’s Military Services are available across all 50 U.S. states and in Europe. Centerstone’s Military Services also partners with other military-friendly organizations, including Wounded Warrior Project and Cohen Veterans Network, to provide a full continuum of services, including counseling, peer mentoring, workshops, homelessness intervention, case management and more. Centerstone’s Military Services has provided specialized care to approximately 15,000 individuals, couples and families.
